User Agreement
    Underground Service Alert of Southern California (USA/SC) 
	Web Ticket Entry (WTE) Update Only Users Agreement

    * All WTE Users will accept responsibility and liability for all
      information provided and transmitted to USA/SC member facility
      owners and operators.

Inaccurate or incomplete information submitted via WTE can result in 
damage to buried facilities, property, or cause injury or death.

    * User account can only update/remark existing DigAlerts that belong 
      to the users organization.  Attempting to update/remark DigAlerts 
      other than those generated by the users organization will result 
      in the loss of WTE privileges to their organization.

    * All WTE Users will process all DigAlert requests in accordance
      with the WTE, USA/SC and California State Rules, Regulation
      and Guidelines.

    * USA/SC reserves the right to deny WTE authorization to any
      organization and/or person for any reason.

    * USA/SC reserves the right to suspend and/or discontinue WTE
      privileges to any organization or individual at any time for any
      reason without prior notice.

    * Excavators not given authorization will be required to 
      call 8-1-1 to process all DigAlert update requests.

    * All WTE Users agree to read and acknowledge any and all warning
      messages and prompts that are displayed throughout the WTE ticket
      processing system.

    * In some instances, additional processing of WTE locate requests
      may be required by a USA/SC representative.

      - These requests may require additional information from the WTE
        User.

      - USA/SC representatives have the right to change and/or correct
	DigAlerts deemed necessary when adequate information is 
	not provided by the WTE User within a reasonable timeframe. 
	
    * All WTE Applications will be processed as soon as possible after
      reviewed by USA/SC. All DigAlert updates must be made via
      8-1-1 until email confirmation of User status is made by
      USA/SC.

REQUIREMENTS

    * An IBM compatible PC running Microsoft Windows 98, NT 4.0 SP6,
      2000 or XP with .Net Framework 1.1 or later.  NOTE: A valid 
      copy of Microsoft Windows is required by Microsoft in order 
      to use the .Net Framework 1.1 or later.  

    * Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher. 6.0 is recommended.

    * Must be able to list http://*.digalert.org in the Trusted Sites
      in order for the .Net Framework to run.  More info on this is 
      available at http://www.digalert.org/dotnetsetup.html.

    * An basic understanding of the internet and basic computer 
      skills is recommended.

As a Web ticket Applicant, I agree with and will adhere to all of the
above conditions and understand that the above requirements may also
change and be modified by USA/SC without prior notice. It is my
responsibility to routinely check www.digalert.org
for any updates to this Agreement or the WTE Processing Guidelines.
